Here are some of the artworks you will see when you visit the gallery.

The Concord Art Association was founded in 1963 in Concord, California, as an organization dedicated to promoting the visual arts. The initial group of members consisted of artists, art collectors, and art enthusiasts who wanted to create a community where artists could share their work, learn from each other, and participate in exhibitions.

In the early years, the association operated as a volunteer organization and held exhibitions in local venues, including schools, libraries, and community centers. The association also sponsored workshops and classes taught by established artists, providing its members with opportunities to learn new techniques and develop their skills.

Today, the Concord Art Association continues to function as a vital part of the East Bay arts community, offering a variety of exhibitions, workshops, grants, scholarships, and community events that promote the visual arts. The organization is run by a volunteer Board of Directors that is supported by its members, as well as donations and grants from local foundations and businesses.
